Hershey, PA - Hersheypark Stadium
August 14th, 2026
Hershey, PA
Hersheypark Stadium
Preface: This was our first show after releasing our blog to the world! Our first show as the Stamp Tramps was everything we could have wished for! We even extended our stay to check out Hersheypark tomorrow!
Eatin’ Big Time in Hershey, PA!
Show Notes: What a night! We got to share our blog with some nice people rockin’ El Dorodo shirts and fellowship with several others. But, enough about us!
Tyler and the fellas brought the TRUTH to Hersheypark Stadium and left us all wanting more. Rarely do you see Tattoos on a setlist but it found its way out here to the delight of everyone!
Our only concern with the show was Craig’s new hat. It looked oddly similar to our friend Roy the Raccoon from a previous show! This animal fur hat was noted and talked about by everyone around us; it was certainly a choice and a fan favorite. Check out our photos from Cuyahoga Falls for more info on Roy!
Outside of joking and amazing songs we must admit the sound at this stadium wasn’t the best we’d ever heard. It was very similar to Geodis that capped off the last tour. Simply put, Hersheypark Stadium wasn’t made to host concerts each night so you could expect some lackluster things. Tonight it happened to be the sound.
It just felt as if the members weren’t able to find their own space and the sound seemed to blend more than usual. Again we caulk this up to the stadium itself as it has plenty of metal bleachers to send the sound back toward the crowd in an unusual way.
Tyler also opened up about how important it was to play Hersheypark and went into some details about why (see the video above!)
Right before All Your’n Tyler admitted the song was written for/about his wife Senora. This was widely assumed but in our experience he’d never out and out said that. Anytime we can learn about why songs were written we like to note them!
The beauty of Hersheypark Stadium
Venue Notes: Hersheypark Stadium was actually great! It’s quite dated but lacks no where.
There were plenty of merch booths, concession stands, and restrooms. The walk ways were wide and allowed easy access all around the entire venue and the employees were very pleasant and plentiful.
Aside from the sound that we felt like was off there was nothing of note in the ‘con’ category for this venue and we’d suggest seeing a show there anytime you can!
Parking Notes: Parking is our favorite cost: FREE! But that’s where the excitement ends. There is very little signage in the parking lot directing you where to actually park and leaving is even worse.
Leaving was actually terrible to be honest. It was completely grid locked at the Giant Center where we parked and literally thousands of cars sat not moving for close to an hour.
Like other venues with parking issues we just suggest scheduling it so that you can hangout and leave awhile later!
Travel Notes: The travel here was actually pretty quick for us but traffic was kind of bad. We didn’t stop many times outside of getting gas and snacks.
Once we got to York, PA, where we stayed we ate at the local Denny’s which is a must stop! They were quick, speedy and friendly.
We’ll also update this after we go to Hersheypark on Saturday as we hope to highlight all the fun things there!
Update: Hersheypark was all it’s cracked up to be! If you like rides and carnival games this is the place for you. We did the one day pass though we do think you should spring for the one day pass and a fast pass to do rides quicker or plan a two day visit (they’re pretty much the same cost) to see everything.
Also do some research on the rides you want to do and prioritize those as the lines are quite lengthy and you need to know exactly where to enter to get on the rides as well.
The park is massive and there are things everywhere! Before leaving you have to go through the merch shop which has anything you could ever want. Plan at least 20 minutes to spend time in there.
After we left we went to the Soda Jerk Diner and Dairy Bar which was without a doubt the best food we had the whole trip! We did poutine fries as an appetizer (we never get apps but when we saw these we had to) and were blown away. Daniel had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and Chloe had the hamburger steak.
If you don’t stop here on your way out of town you’re doing it wrong! This is an absolute must stop for anyone in the area. Aside from the food our waiter was excellent and one of the best we’ve ever had.
Additionally, the Soda Jerk Diner was playing Hank Williams’ ‘Lost Highway’; any place, any where, playing Hank Sr. is note worthy!
Bonus: Up for bounty is 2 tickets to any Tyler Childers and the Food Stamps show of your choosing if you can send us photo evidence that Roy is still alive and safe!
