Nashville, TN - Hello From the Hills
January 28th, 2024
Nashville, TN
City Winery
Preface: This was our anniversary gift to ourselves! Chloe has to fake a sickness to get the day off and Daniel had to change his schedule around but we made it happen!
Our 2 year anniversary trip!
Show Notes: From the start this was obviously a unique experience. Just Tyler Childers. CJ Cain and Jesse Wells all donning their single instruments.
While this was a shorter than usual set it certainly made up for it housing Paradise; a John Prine cover.
Hello From the Hills had partnered with several other foundations to make this possible, one of which was John Prine inspired so it felt only right that Paradise was played.
Born Again kicked it off, followed by County Squire, then Nose on the Grindstone, Lady May, Paradise, Honky Tonk Flame and ending with Follow You to Virgie.
This was one of the most amazing events we’d gotten to go to and we can’t thank the person on Reddit enough who let us know that the tickets had gone on sale early!
The show also featured several other artists who played a couple of songs each and everyone on the bill played for free.
It should be noted that while unique and a great experience this did come at a cost that is a little bit higher than usual but if you’ve got the extra money we highly suggest trying to catch a show like this!

Venue Notes: The City Winery was great! The food was great! The people were great! The staff was great! Everything was great! You should do yourself the favor and go here even if it’s not for a show!
Splurge on yourself and enjoy a glass of wine while you’re relaxing waiting for your food. Or, do what we did and get the sampler flight which was 4 different smaller glasses of wine!
Parking Notes: Parking was on-site and free. It’s normally a winery so they’re used to handling crowds and this was no different. Nothing of note was wrong with the parking and it was free of charge so it was a-okay by us!
Travel Notes: We had to be super fast for this show but we did hit up Top Golf Nashville who ended up having our reservation messed up but gave us 50% off because of it! You can’t beat that!
So if you’re up for golf and you’re in Nashville make sure to hit the Top Golf!
