New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival

New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Fest! An absolutely historic festival that takes place in the heart of New Orleans and about 10 minutes from the French Quarters. This is an absolute bucket list festival for most people and for us alike! We’ve been waiting for this moment for awhile because this festival is so unique. It blends music and art into one festival. Multiple genres are always housed at New Orleans Jazz Fest and this year is no different.
Along with Tyler and the boys, weekend 1 of the festival includes Stevie Nicks, Lorde, Jon Batiste, Nas, Sean Paul, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Bruce Hornsby, Leftover Salmon, and many, many, more!
Aside from the festival and French Quarters we recommend checking out the New Orleans Museum of Art which is walking distance from the festival grounds. Also, we would highly suggest checking out the New Orleans Botanical Garden which is also within walking distance of the festival. You should have plenty of time for this because New Orleans Jazz Fest ends at 7pm! That’s right, 7pm! You can actually get a full nights sleep before coming back the next day around 11am.
This is such an amazing and historic festival that we could go on and on about how excited we are but we’ll spare you. Obviously it’s New Orleans so get some seafood, check out some graveyards, and enjoy the music!
