The Golden 1 Center is in downtown Sacramento and used to be home to the best University of Kentucky Wildcat to ever play (if Daniel’s opinion matters): De’Aaron Fox! The arena has a capacity of over 19,000 for concerts and this place will be rocking for Tyler and the boys! Northern California isn’t as used to getting major concerts in the way that Southern California is so this is going to be a welcomed event by everyone in the area!
The venue is littered with food and merch booths and outside the venue is filled with tons of food options within walking distance.
Given that it’s located in the middle of downtown the parking is extremely limited. We suggest checking out ParkWhiz or SpotHero to get a parking spot because there are so many options ranging from $10-$100+ and due to the limited parking these options change frequently and giving you advice or what to expect price and distance wise wouldn’t be realistic in every situation. ParkWhiz and SpotHero are pre-paid parking apps which secures your spot so that you don’t have to worry about it come show day (at time of writing there aren’t spots available as far in advance as the show date). There are also plenty of bus stops and light rail options and we suggest checking out local information closer to the day of the show to ensure stop times and making sure you’re at the show on time!
Similar to other Californian cities in its size, Sacramento is much more laid back and historic than other cities in the state and it’s the state capitol. There are ample riverfront shops and boutiques plus many historical museums. Some of the restaurants along the river offer a riverfront deck seating experience. If you love animals the Sacramento Zoo is one of the best zoos on the west coast.
Wednesday will be kicking the show off with their fierce guitar melodies and wonderful sound before Tyler Childers and the Food Stamps take the stage for the FIRST TIME EVER in Sacramento!
