Folsom Field! Tyler Childers and the Food Stamps are back again! Home to the first drone show in the history of their touring, Folsom Field is clearly a special place to the guys! We expect this to be another stellar show highlighted with an amazing crowd!
Folsom Field is a football stadium that holds around 50,000 people and is normally home to the University of Colorado. There’s limited parking around given that the venue is located on a college campus so we highly suggest taking public transit or Uber to get there. In the event you do want to park closer and not have to wait on someone else to pick you up when you’re leaving then paying for parking is well worth it! ~$50 for a parking spot close to the venue is, in our opinion, well worth it since parking is so limited. We recommend buying a parking pass as early as possible (they’re not on sale at time of posting) and getting to the stadium as early as possible.
Boulder is a suburb of Denver and we absolutely love its spot nestled up against the Rockies. It’s one of the most amazing cities we’ve ever visited. Also, you can’t possibly pass up a trip down to Red Rocks Park in Morrison and checking out random mountain sights while in town.
In a major reunion Jon Batiste is back to fill the second opener spot. Jon is an amazing artist and you shouldn’t miss any chance to see him live! Additionally, Wednesday is still making their rounds with the boys and will be opening the show. Wednesday is a female fronted alternative rock band who is well worth checking out even if rock isn’t your cup of tea! We’re beyond excited to see this lineup together for the 2nd time on the tour!
The Folsom Field show has been relocated to a familiar venue for Tyler and the boys, Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre. The band last played here in 2023 a couple days after their back-to-back shows at Red Rocks. Fiddler’s Green is a great looking venue and is notable for its use of - well you guessed it - the color green. The seats are green, the rails are green, the light poles are green, you get the picture.
Fiddler’s Green also boasts one of the most beautiful lawn sections of any amphitheater you’ll ever see; this is mainly due to its views of the Rocky Mountains in the background. Much closer to downtown Denver than the originally scheduled location in Boulder, Fiddler’s Green is ripe with opportunity to enjoy things before and after the show. There are literally restaurants lining the street blocks away on Greenwood Plaza Blvd.
The venue also sits right off of I-25 which provides quick and easy access to the rest of Denver. Be mindful that parking is very limited around the venue if you’re purchasing a pass through the venue itself. We recommend parking somewhere like the Village Center Station Garage which houses way more cars and is only about a quarter of a mile away (you can find this on SpotHero and at the time of writing parking for the show is only $27).
The lineup for the show didn’t change so it’s still going to be Wednesday followed by Jon Batiste opening up. Each of these artists are amazing in their own right. Jon is known for his piano playing abilities which surpass most that you’ll ever see live, while Wednesday are known for their mixture of different styles like shoegazing and country. They’re both artists you’ll want to see live over and over again so we can’t stress how important it is to get there early!
